I've been getting lots of questions about ranks. The order is as follows...
Guild Master
High Commander
Commander
Major
Captain
1st Lieutenant
2nd Lieutenant
Twink (Alt)
Bank (Alt)
Newbie (self-explanatory; no privileges yet)
Unless your character is a twink or bank alt, everyone starts out as a "2nd Lieutanent" and has the opportunity to work their way up, all the way to High Commander. Please be aware that promotions will be very deliberate, at no particular time, and at the sole discretion of the guild master. I'm always watching!
So... you wanna get promoted, eh?
- level your character(s)
- positively contribute to guild chat
- help lowbies
- positively represent the guild
- contribute items and gold to the guild bank*
*All gold deposited into the guild bank is non-refundable, and will be used to purchase additional guild bank tabs, as well as for occasional "Free Repair Days." Please only deposit items in the guild bank that you do not want or need, as they may be withdrawn quickly. The guild bank is for the benefit of the whole guild, not for personal storage.*
With each new level of promotion, you will be granted new abilities and privileges that were restricted in your previous rank, as well as new responsibilities and expectations. Everyone's rank will reflect their level of commitment and contribution to the guild.
